Xenarthrans highlighted on TV

This weekend’s episode of the Emmy-nominated TV show The Wildlife Docs will focus on xenarthran rescue, rehabilitation, and release.  The episode will feature a team of experts from Busch Gardens Tampa as they visit and assist the Panamerican Conservation Association (APPC) in Panama.

Rob Yordi, Curator of Mammals at Busch Gardens Tampa says, “We are very proud of the work that the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund, Busch Gardens Tampa, SeaWorld San Antonio, SEA, and The Wildlife Docs team has put into to this show and hope everyone will tune in or DVR the episode. Special thanks goes to Nestor Correa, Yiscel Yanguez, and all of the staff at the APPC for their amazing dedication to the wildlife of Panama.” The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund has supported the Panamerican Conservation Association (APPC) since 2006.

The episode will air this Saturday morning, November 7 on ABC (check your local listings for exact times).
